Terms of Use
Effective date: 1 September 2026
01Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website ecoalition.com.sg and the Ecoalition platform (together, the "Platform"), operated by Ecoalition Pte Ltd ("Ecoalition", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered office at 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Singapore 409051. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
02Eligibility
The Platform is intended for businesses, professionals, trade associations and their authorised representatives. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and, where applicable, have the authority to act on behalf of the organisation you represent.
03Accounts
Certain features require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that breaches these Terms;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any organisation;
- Upload or share content that is false, defamatory, infringing or harmful;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform, including through malware or excessive automated requests;
- Scrape, harvest or otherwise extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
05Content and intellectual property
The Platform — including its design, text, graphics, logos and underlying software — is owned by or licensed to Ecoalition and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the Platform without our prior written consent.
You keep ownership of content you submit to the Platform ("User Content"). By submitting it, you grant Ecoalition a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
06Matching and recommendations
Ecoalition uses automated tools to surface content, connections, opportunities and insights across the network. These outputs are recommendations, not guarantees — we don't warrant the accuracy, completeness or outcome of any match, introduction or recommendation, and any decision you make based on them remains your own responsibility.
07Third-party links and services
The Platform may link to third-party websites or services that we don't own or control. We're not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party.
08Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecoalition is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform — even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Platform is capped at the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
10Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ecoalition harmless from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.
11Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct we believe breaches these Terms or is harmful to other users, Ecoalition, or third parties.
12Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
